Local search being used as a directory-assistance substitute
Local search is being used as a directory-assistance substitute by about 52 percent of users, who are simply looking for a business phone number or address. However, about 59 percent of the category of usage in the second quarter was for attractions and entertainment: restaurants, bars, theaters, etc. Another large category was for services at approx. 41 percent of users, according to comScore.

Google still tells us that this was not a security breach, however! Google notes that specific individuals and small and medium-sized businesses aren’t too concerned... For now, Google’s security precautions are probably far beyond what they are doing anyway. Questions about Google’s plans to further expand its online office offerings went unanswered today.
