Important click fraud lawsuit settled by Yahoo
To ensure that the advertising community has ongoing visibility into Yahoo's Clickthrough
Protection system, Yahoo will host a panel of individual advertisers at its CTP headquarters
once a year. During these visits, the company will allow advertisers to review its systems,
meet with the CTP team and provide feedback on how it can continue to enhance its approach
to fighting click fraud.

Google's efficient tracking ability
The tracking ability is the most recent in a string of deals involving Google. Earlier
in June, Dell reached a deal to supply Google with customized computer servers the search engine
company will sell to corporate customers. And last month, Google said it would start bundling
some of its software on Dell's personal computers.

Is Google planning on an Arabic version of its search engine?
It seems that although the official Google jobs site lists the vacancy for a product marketing
manager for their office in Egypt, the listing fails to mention that posting may require travel
between London and Cairo. The same job posted on monster.com states that the job is located in
London although it is for Google Egypt. Is Google planning on pushing Arabized/localized versions
of their enterprise solutions like the OneBox & Google Earth?

Internet users are very good at blocking out things they don’t like
Sponsored links need to closely relate to search terms to be successful. "When you look at the
sponsored links and they're not related to the content, users look away quickly, almost like
you're slapping them on the hand," said Pernice Coyne. "These types of advertisers doing this
type of advertising, I feel like they're going to ruin it very quickly. People are incredibly
good at blocking things out they don’t like."

Jeffrey Toback: Oversight of Google beyond the purview of county legislators
Jeffrey Toback, who has sponsored local legislation raising the age that teenagers can legally
buy cigarettes to 19 and limiting teen access to tanning salons, said last month that he filed
the lawsuit because oversight of Google was beyond the purview of county legislators.
