Yahoo in deal with eBay, shuffles executives around
Such deals include one with eBay that will sell advertising to the online auction's sites, and
another deal with Comcast to sell online display and video advertising for the Comcast.net site.
Susan Decker also added in her employee memo that Schneider, the executive who spearheaded Yahoo's
recent advertising sales partnership with various newspaper publishing groups, will be in charge of
advertising sales, Yahoo's publisher network (YPN), corporate partnerships and the company's job
recruitment service HotJobs.

As is always the case with a beta version, you have to expect some bugs in any software
that is initially released to the public, especially in its beta format. Microsoft deserves a
bit of credit for thinking outside-of-the-the box, and experimenting with new opportunities that
innovative Internet technologies can offer.

Yahoo and the Chinese Torture Victim Protection Act
She added "the real issue here is the plaintiffs' outrage at the behavior and laws of the
Chinese government. The US court system is not the forum for addressing these political
concerns." The lawsuit filed under the auspices of the U.S. Alien Tort Claims Act and the Torture
Victim Protection Act names Chinese Internet search engine Alibaba as a defendant along with Yahoo's
operations in China and Hong Kong.
