Just what has Google got to sell to the government?
He also said he feels perhaps the rumors are true, and that Google and the U.S. Department of Defense are already doing business. A Department of Defense spokesperson did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment. Just what has Google got to sell to the government? There's the lineup of its Mini search appliances, which range in price from $2,000 to more than $30,000, and which improve the search capabilities of computer networks found within corporations.

Google's motto: make money without doing evil
Google's corporate philosophy includes the line, "You can make money without doing evil." "Amazingly," says Kabateck, "Google apparently doesn't see cheating its customers out of billions of dollars as doing evil." Class members have 30 days after Google e-mails them a notice of the settlement (on or before May 20, 2006) to opt out of the settlement agreement.

Sphere aims to search blogs that are relevant
The Sphere blog search engine judges more recent posts as more relevant. It considers a number of other factors, including a blogger's post frequency, and whether a blogger uses a word several times, such as tickets-tickets-tickets -- again, a yellow flag for spam. Sphere also lets you click on a "related media" button, which provides you with news articles, podcasts, books and photos related to the term you are searching for. But the second impressive feature is its "Sphere it!" feature.
